Haha, so true! I was real sad about the no chocolate pie thing, but I did get some sugar elsewhere. You refreshed my sweet memories of the beautiful Oregon Coastal drive we did last summer. And I agree, these small towns on the way were far too cute. I think we stopped at Newport to grab lunch but probably missed stopping at Manzanita. Newport is great too. I love tiny towns and therefore Manzanita, Oregon is tempting me. It is good that this place has only people as it would be too peaceful and relaxing.

Even the restaurants here are quite rustic and unique. Manzanita seems like it would be a great stop to make on a road trip through the state. Manzanita is a gem! It is much more laid back than Cannon Beach, and you can get some pretty awesome overlooks to it from Hwy 1.

Really, Highway 1 has a ton of incredible views and overlooks, including the ones near Manzanita, OR. This is perfect timing. I was just researching coastal towns to visit next week with my nieces in town. Oh, that makes me so happy I could help!
